0 Anderson, CA Anderson, CA Full-time Full-time $70,000 - $100,000 a year $70,000 - $100,000 a year JOB SUMMARY The division manager's position is responsible for ensuring the safe and productive day-to-day distribution activities of the retail and rail terminal operation.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on team leader that motivates the division staff, while providing guidance and direction to obtaining the goals of the division.
In addition to being a team leader, the successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills and be able to maintain a high level of customer service.
Above all, the Division Manager must demonstrate a high degree of accountability, integrity, possess superior interpersonal and customer service skills, and be adept at building strong relationships with staff at all levels of the organization.
Additionally, the successful candidate must possess a strong understanding of our retail propane operations and have the ability to utilize current and future computer software tools to enhance division efficiencies.
This multi-faceted position will require a solid background in safety, customer service, DOT and regulatory compliance, employee relations and strong computer skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze and execute operational business plans for profitability.
Manage P & L and controllable expenditure statement.
Analyze and review division reports to improve division operation.
Assist with Accounts Receivable collection.
Understand and manage the M&P/Appliance Inventory.
Enforce and maintain company policies and procedures.
Understand and interpret Federal, local and state regulations for compliance.
Ensure company compliance with safety codes and policies including the maintenance and repair of division fleet.
Appropriately create, implement and execute strategies to achieve business plan objectives.
Effectively manage staff for improved efficiencies and performance.
Assists in the division's sales by increasing customer base.
Works with the sales team to obtain quality long term sustainable growth.
Work closely with & provide field support to the service & delivery departments, execute highest level of customer service.
Interviewing, hiring, and training division staff.
Proactively address and resolve employee/customer issues with fairness.
Appraise employee work performance and behavior.
Review daily work to ensure accuracy and proper documentation from all departments.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Specialized training related to the LP Gas field (CETP, outside source certifications.
) Prior management or supervisory experience.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS At least 5 years in the propane gas or gas distribution services industry.
Prior management or supervisory experience.
Must be willing to relocate.
Ability to obtain a Commercial Class B License with proper endorsements.
